Facebook adds new carousel to help you find interesting topics. The "topic carousel" tries to make it easier to discover new content.

Facebook now lets you auto-invite engaged followers to join your Group. Followers who interact with your posts automatically get invitations.

Facebook testing an “Add Templates” section for Stories. You can access trending and “recently added” templates from other users.

Instagram

Instagram launches “collage” option for Stories. You can select multiple images from your photos to create personalized collages.

Instagram adds Video Notes (of up to 60 seconds). You can record and share video messages to convey thoughts in real-time.

It just got easier to add posts & Reels to notes. The new “Add to Notes” button is below the share button and only takes a single tap.

Instagram now lets you share Reels directly to Threads. The feature was added to the Reels creation flow in IG.

Threads

Threads now lets you swipe between different feeds on your home screen. You can switch between “Following”, “For You” and custom feeds.

Threads testing an option to make any feed your default. For example, you can choose to see posts from only accounts you follow only, instead of recommended content.

Threads working on own version of Bluesky’s “Starter Packs”. They call it “Recommended Follow Lists” and it helps you find new accounts to follow.

You can now watch videos in landscape on Threads. Only portrait mode was available before, even when turning your phone on its side.

YouTube's removal of dislike counts helps female creators in a big way. After the change, female creators got 21% fewer dislikes and 57% less negative feedback, leading to 15.5% more engagement on their vids.
